This year’s Art Afterschool will combine both paint/draw and make/do from last year. I will be rotating through different types of creating but all classes are offered by the each ($27 or $54 for a two=part class) if your child has specific interests. You can, also purchase them by winter or spring sessions or by the whole!

Here is what we will be doing each session:

1/15 (MLK Day)— 8 x 10 acrylic Penguin painting

1/22 — Stylized watercolor snowy field landscape

1/29 — Flip Books (hand drawn “animation”)

2/5 — Salt dough hearts

2/12 — Watercolor floral cards

2/19-2/26 — Start mushroom painting/finish mushroom painting

3/4 — orange peel/clay mushrooms

3/11 — Drawing faces

3/18 —Handpainted wooden easter eggs

**Spring Break

4/1 — Collaged Carnivorous plants

4/8 — Rainbow Cloud mobiles

4/15 — Movable Insect people

4/22 — Watercolor forest (2-color depth exercise)

4/29-5/6 — Forget-me-not bouquet acrylic painting

5/13 — Oil pastel animals

5/20 — Painted Paper field of flowers

If your child would like to take the bus from a Coos Bay district school, let me know and I can reach out to the school and/or bus company to help set that up.

Kids can come as early as the bus gets here, but we won’t start the actual project until 3:45
